April 6, 2024 New England teams getting back to business On the weekend, the teams in the first two regions got back to business with the snow and rain just a memory. Coast Guard split a tough doubleheader with No 6 Salve Regina. Both games were nail biters by final scores of 3-1 in favor of the Bears in game one and 6-5 in favor of the Seahawks in game two.
January 6, 2021 Casey to steer Coast Guard Brian Casey, the associate head coach, pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at William & Mary for the past eight years, has been named the head coach at the Coast Guard Academy following an extensive national search.
March 10, 2019 Coast Guard sweeps, Shenandoah too The Coast Guard Bears took two from Finlandia on Sunday as brooms were out for Shenandoah and SUNY Poly as well. The Hornet set down Emory and Henry and the Wildcats opened their season with a sweep of Colby-Sawyer.
April 28, 2016 Babson wins play-in game in NEWMAC tourney Babson won a play-in game with Coast Guard to move into the semifinal round of the NEWMAC tournament. In Lynchburg, Shenandoah won easily while Randolph-Macon came out on top in a back and forth contest. Washington and Lee also advanced.
